Sunsoft	Developed The Wing of Madoola. They recently rereleased the game in a collection on Steam and Switch.
Forest of Madoola	The best Wing of Madoola fansite. Rinno, the webmaster, has been filling it with great information and fanart since the early 2000s. You can tell that she's really passionate about the game. Note that the site is entirely in Japanese. Make sure to check out Rinno's Twitter page, where she posts more fanart.
Asteria no Layla	A similarly impressive fansite about the game Layla, which came out a couple days after The Wing of Madoola. Features lots of information on how to beat the game, its development, and the history of the "galge" genre on the Famicom.
Gaming Alexandria	A great site featuring scans of tons of old games, as well as historical background, interviews, and more. Readers of this site may enjoy the interview with Kenji Sada, who led the Wing of Madoola dev team. Hubz, the site's webmaster, is a true G.
LSD4	A fansite for Legacy of the Wizard/Dragon Slayer 4. Contains information about all of the game's ports, maps, glitch information, speedruns, and more. Cmdrsho, the site's webmaster, updates it every few days so there's always something new to read.
BBC Elite	If you like this site for the technical stuff, you'll love BBC Elite. Mark Moxon, the site's webmaster, has put together a phenomenal resource for the game Elite. He's annotated the game's source code, written techical deep dives that cover how the game works, and documented the differences between all the different 6502-based Elite ports.
